New feature providing cost-effectiveness information
11 February 2019 -- eLENA has been updated with a new feature providing links to more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and reports assessing the cost-effectiveness of a wide range of nutrition interventions in a variety of contexts and settings.
New and updated interventions
19 December 2017 -- eLENA has been updated to include interventions from the recently released guidelines Protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding in facilities providing maternity and newborn services and Assessing and managing children at primary health-care facilities to prevent overweight and obesity in the context of the double burden of malnutrition
- Feeding of infants unable to breastfeed directly in care facilities
- Support for mothers to initiate and establish breastfeeding after childbirth
- Creating an environment in care facilities that supports breastfeeding
- Supplementary foods for the management of moderate acute malnutrition in children aged 6-59 months (updated)
31 October 2017 -- eLENA has been updated with new guidance on nutritional care in older adults from the WHO guideline WHO Guidelines on Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE):
27 September 2017 -- eLENA has been updated with new guidance on deworming from the WHO guideline Preventive chemotherapy to control soil-transmitted helminth infections in at-risk population groups:

Systematic review summaries
11 January 2017 -- eLENA has been updated with a new feature that provides convenient access to key elements of systematic reviews which serve as the evidence base for interventions in eLENA.
Summaries provide methodological information, key results and conclusions of the authors of the reviews in a concise, yet detailed format.
New feature linking interventions and WHO global targets
03 August 2016 -- eLENA has been updated with a new feature that provides users with a convenient way of identifying nutrition interventions which, when implemented, may contribute to progress towards achieving the WHO global nutrition and diet-related NCD targets.
