Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals (IVB) and SIVAC
EVIPNet, the WHO Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals (IVB) and the Supporting National Independent Immunization and Vaccine Advisory Committees (SIVAC) Initiative are collectively working in support of capacity-building for evidence-based policy-making on vaccines and immunization at country level. Concretely, they support National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups (NITAGs), which provide guidance to national policy-makers and programme managers on immunization-related policy and programme decisions.

Patient Safety and African Partnerships for Patient Safety (APPS)
APPS works in collaboration with WHO EVIPNet to build support structures that strengthen the interface between patient safety evidence and policy. WHO Patient Safety department, APPS and EVIPNet have co-organized the workshop "From research to action: a practical guide for achieving evidence-informed policy-making" for the pre-conference session of the 29th ISQua International Conference in Geneva in October 2012.
The AFRICA BUILD Portal (ABP) is an Open and Free Social and Professional Network for supporting collaborative links and access to a broad variety of informatics tools for Health Training and Research in Africa. It is important network to connect Health Researchers in Africa. AFRICA BUILD is a Coordination Action aiming to support and develop advanced Centres of Excellence in health care, education and research in the African countries, through Information Technologies. This project is supported by the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7-ICT). The main goal is to generate virtual communities of African researchers that can continue these initial efforts by creating, developing and exchanging, collaboratively, new knowledge, methods, informatics tools and data.
