Monique Jacot travelled to Niger in 1969 to photograph the Ecole Nationale d'Infirmières in the capital city of Niamey. She covered the courses offered at the school, a mandatory internship for students in a bush village and a rural sanitary education campaign. The images from Ms Jacot's report appeared in the World Health magazine in 1969 in an article profiling a nurse from the school.
