>> The Call for Action

Until now, efforts to eliminate rabies have been fragmented across sectors and regions.

In 2015, the world called for action by setting a global goal of zero human dog-mediated rabies deaths by 2030, worldwide.

>> Our Response

WHO, OIE, FAO and GARC have united to deliver a comprehensive strategic plan to reach Zero by 30.

We developed the Plan in consultation with relevant global, regional and country stakeholders.

It provides a coordinated response to prevent rabies integrated with strengthening of human and veterinary health systems to reach the world’s most underserved populations. This aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

>> Reaching Zero by 30

The Theory of Change outlines the societal changes needed to reach our goal.

These changes aim to reduce costs, save lives and provide a means to validate rabies elimination in countries and regions.

>> Engage With Us

Our multi-stakeholder platform engages countries and experts to advance towards Zero by 30. We are creating an enabling environment for change.
