Analysis of the health product pipeline for the poverty related neglected diseases utilizing the TDR Portfolio-to-impact (P2I) R&D modelling tool

Deadline for submission: 14 January 2019
Applications are invited to support research using the TDR Portfolio-to-Impact R&D modelling tool to analyse the health product pipeline of the poverty related neglected diseases. The aim is to contribute new evidence on efforts to support research for the financing, development and implementation on health products for the poverty related neglected diseases PRNTDs (HIV, TB, malaria and the NTDs as defined by the annual GFINDER survey). The analysis will identify the priorities for health products and recommendations on how research for implementation can be better supported. The integration of these areas is needed to address the barriers to access across the whole R&D spectrum from development to delivery. This will provide the most comprehensive analysis to date of the needs for priority health products in PRNTDs and the expected public health impact if the gaps were adequately addressed. The report would include recommendations on how the pipeline could be better managed to coordinate activities and stimulate innovation to address identified gaps.
